The house is a three-level, 5,800 square foot villa located in the town of Port de Sóller. It has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bath, a small salt water pool and extensive outdoor spaces. It's a few steps away from the waterfront main strip of the town, leading to lots of restaurants and a sandy beach. The house sits on a stretch of land that borders the town on one side and the sea on the other with great views all around.
Mallorca is one of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, off the cost of Spain. It's dotted with historic towns in a dramatic landscape that includes craggy mountains and beautiful beaches. Palma, the capital, is a small cosmopolitan city dominated by a massive gothic cathedral. Parts of the island are overrun with British and German tourist enclaves, but large swaths remain manageable for a peaceful holiday.
Sóller is a picturesque town in in the Tramuntana mountains, about 40 minutes from the airport in Palma. Recent history dates back to the 13th century with Moorish accounts of citrus groves establishing the wealth of the area. It's within close proximity to other notable towns like Deià and Valldemossa.
Port de Sóller connects to the main town by tram and forms the southern end of an almost completely enclosed bay. Port de Sóller is a fun little town in its own right.
