The house is about 4,600 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 6 bath. It's located directly on the beach, about 6 kilometers by road from Porto Vecchio. It's a stone's throw from the town by water and we're investigating water taxis or other ways to shuttle back and forth. It offers good privacy despite its proximity to the action, and it seems very tastefully appointed. All of the rooms offer queen or king beds with private en suite bathrooms. See the photos below.
If you're not familiar with Corsica, it's a region of France and the fourth largest island in the Mediterranean. It lies to the southeast of France, separated from the mainland by the Ligurian Sea and across the Tyrrhenian Sea from Italy. It shares culture with both France and Italy. Corsica is known for its stunning natural features and the variety of it's topography, which ranges from the dramatic mountains of the north and interior to its 1,000 kilometers of shoreline with pristine beaches. If you're interested in diving, it's exceptional.
Porto Vecchio is known for its resorts, beaches and nightlife. It's surrounded by beaches and the marine biodiversity is a highlight. The town is a short hop from the villa we rented.
